I"m shocked to read these reviews. My experience was tremendously positive. I started seeing him after seeing the enormous difference he made in someone else's life who is very close to me. I worked with him individually for almost five years and it is because of his committed, insightful, and rare wisdom that I was able to heal my relationship with myself and my family. Many therapists are well intentioned but they miss the mark. Harlan is extraordinarily wise, unconventional and yet very cognizant of boundaries and ethics, and challenged me to grow and face myself and my life. Sometimes I was very angry with him for his feedback but i'd always realize soon enough it was what I needed to hear. He is also a tremendously caring and engaged therapist. I have known others who were also extremely helped by him. He was very well respected by many, many couples who worked with him through the University of Judaism. He was very pricey but I'll never regret the money spent for as long as I live.

My experience with Mr. Dworsky was very poor. I took my son to see him for several months. Later on my son admitted that he was stoned "out of his mind" most of the appointments and does not remember much of what went on. Mr. Dworsky falied to recognize the severity of the problem. Taking my son to see him on a weekly basis for months fostered a false sense of security. I wasted invaluable time and money.
