INDEPENDENT FORKLIFT SERVICES, INC was started in May 1979 as a small sole proprietor company, doing forklift repair locally, in the Portland Oregon area. With in two years, the company had grown large enough to require a salesman and become a corporation. Moving to our current location in May of 1986, we now offer service, sales, rental and parts sales of material handling equipment. Our staff and crew are mostly made up of long time employees, who excel in their specific fields. Working well together provides a pleasant environment and enables us to effectively process our daily duties. Although based in the Pacific Northwest, a large portion of our sales is received from the U.S. east coast and Canada. We recently initiated business in the Asian equipment market providing us with a variety of overseas forklifts as well as domestic lines. We also welcome inquiries concerning forklift sales, rental and parts. Helping companies move their products is our concern.
