I've been going to Edwin's Hair Salon for several years now. Edwin is truly the artist with a pair of scissors in hand. His wife, similarly, is an artist with hair color, and she's the only one that I'll trust to do my eyebrows! I've had highlights/lowlights added occasionally, but it's not necessary for me. (Others may want the drama). Grace manages to make a 'regular color' show many -- seemingly totally natural -- variations in tone and color.

Very friendly environment and felt comfortable from beginning!

I was recommended by my Pastor's wife but I was still a bit skeptical of going to a new place. Very bare bones decor but don't let that fool you. EDWIN is an ARTIST with color and scissors!!!! He takes the time to talk to you about what YOU want, feel the texture and structure of your hair and listen. If you let him, Edwin will give you the color you are look to achieve, taking care to perform each step with care and attention to detail. He will also give you the hair style of your life. He is a magician with scissors!



Although squeezed in a mostly industrial store front, opening the door to a pieceful place feels welcome. The shop itself is low key, plays comfortable music and has a family atmosphere. Owned by Edwin and his wife Grace they are so respectful of each other customers feel instantly at home.



I have had my hair done in the best salons in New York and Los Angles and believe me, Edwin is just as good if not better than the rest! Once too many people discover his talent I may be out of luck for bragging and have to wait for ever for an appointment but he (and his wife) deserves the praise.



The best thing for me is that I am not writing this because I am a friend or relative, I am just a new very happy client! So don't pass up a chance to go to one of the best I have ever found.
