I have not been to Fred's food club since they first opened at the time it was not impressive to me so I decided today to try it again as they had the charcoal on sale and my husband wanted me to go by and pick some up well walking around in there i decided that it had changed and i saw a lot of things that i could get cheaper and decided i was going to start shopping here until i get to the register and they wouldn't take our credit card because my husbands name was on it i showed her my license with the same last name but she refused to take it i understand them being careful about taking credit cards but the card had the same last name and i was buying charcoal for gods sake did they think i wanted to use it??No my husband uses it all the time needles to say they just lost probably at least a $100.00 a week as i was going to start shopping there and the manager that came over to disapprove it was very rude and unprofessional will not go back

Very good prices, great location, and always clean. Employees are very friendly.
