Only a small boat owner with a problem outboard knows the frustration of putting the boat in the water and yanking dozens of times trying to get it started. (compound that with the fact that you know it's your own fault because you did not run it all those months). Well, one visit to Portside and the problem was fixed -and at a very fair price. The motor has started (as it should) on the first pull almost every time for the last several months. Additionally, I was shown how to avoid the problem in the future. Victor and the whole Portside Marine team were great and I recommend them without reservation.

I will never use another boat mechanic. These guys do quality work and they are honest. They always pickup the phone and have proven time and time again to be the best there is. If you want your boat/motor/trailer to be fixed/maintained properly, go see these guys.

Had an amazing experience with portside marine.i called josh and explain my problem with my sea ray jet boat and he knew exactly what it was.he fixed my boat quick and when he called me to let me know it was ready I ask him if it was posible to detail the boat before that weekend cause I wanted to go to the beach and he went above and beyond and did it for me. They did an Excellent job and I definitely recommend Portside Marine to everyone. If you are looking for a Great honest mechanic this is the guy for you.

Spoke with Josh when I needed my newly purchased used boat was giving me issues. Josh was very understanding of my planed vacation to the islands in the inter-coastal less then a week away. He always kept me in the loop on the progress and what he was doing even sending me pictures when I requested. After the reasonably priced repairs were finished Josh went the extra mile to bring the boat down to the river for a test drive! Even giving me docking/unloading advice along the way ;)

I suspect from reading other reviews that I was luck enough to fine a honest, positive knowledgeable mechanic on my first try. Without a doubt will use again!

Josh is honestly the most honest and thorough boat mechanic I have ever dealt with. I am hands down amazed with his service. Josh knows what it takes to make customer service number one. I cannot say enough about his service, and the fact he comes to you is a major bonus. I can truly say I've found my mechanic for life. I can not say enough good things about them. They fixed my keywest stealth flats boat in a professional, timely manner, also very reasonable prices, very skilled. These guys know what they are doing!! You won't be disappointed. I will use them again in a heartbeat.
