I’ve been going to Honda Service Center on Fairbanks for years. The service is always quality, prompt and dependable. I really trust Ron Schillings and his Service team! If you are fortunate enough to have your vehicle serviced at this location, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing service!! They were able to squeeze us in when we really needed the van looked at and the oil changed. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Hands down the best service station I have ever been to. They made a point to explain everything to me and break it down. The waiting room has a separate closed off room for kids to play complete with blocks, cars and a play tent. I was able to use the WiFi to get work done while my daughter played. Then the van was even ready 30 minutes before they said it would be. Can't see myself ever taking our cars anywhere else.

They charged my grandmother over $600 to replace her battery and battery cable. Ron Shillings the service manager was rude and unapologetic. When I asked why they charged over $300 for labor he said it took them 2 1/2 hours. To replace a battery and battery cable? I don't think so. I'm disgusted that they took advantage of the elderly with no remorse or resolution when confronted.

Zero Quality Control and Supervision

Stay far away! I have had Honda vehicles for years and this service center took a big dive about 2 years ago. The technicians that service the vehicles have high turnover, every time I come it's a different face worki ng on my car. Worst of all, is absolutely zero supervision. I have had repeated problems here:



08/2013: I had an oil change and tires rotated, when I picked my car up they had not even touched my tires. Looked at the bill and they had charged me for the rotation. When confronted, they stated "Oh, well the technician didn't think it needed it." They obviously refunded me after I pointed it out. So why try to charge me. In my book that is fraud.



10/2014: Got a notice in the mail to take my vehicle to the center to have the air bag repaired and after I picked it up, I hear what sounds like a loose part in the steering wheel rattling around, when I turned the wheel. Before I could get home, a large bolt drops out of the airbag area. My God, if the airbag had of ever deployed, it could have shot right at my head! This is a major, major safety issue. I can get past cutting corners on oil changes and inspections but to not verify that a safety system is correctly installed, is crazy.



I will never return to this dealership due to thier lack of responsible management. Oversight is a prerequisite for quality work and here there is none. Stay away!
