Dr. Huhn

Dr. Huhn is very through, I went in for vertigo, he did all necessary testing. He recommended I come back for other testing to be sure we are covering all the possibilities.
I would highly recommend him if you need a reliable ENT

Prescription Foul-up

Although I give them one *, they deserve more, except for my recent experience trying to deal with their customer service(!). I have been a patient of the late Dr. Saffran for 20 years. I always found him to be gracious and caring and was dismayed at his passing, and for that reason I would normally give them a 5*. I have been receiving a Rx from him for many years - 90 day mail order. Recently another one of their drs., (Izquierdo) whom I have never met, renewed the Rx but only for 30 days. (Doesn't anyone review my med. records?). I pay the same for 90 dys. as I do for 30 dys. by mail order. I was assured by a male in their CS dept. that it would be taken care of; a new Rx would be issued and the previous one canceled. To my dismay I had it recently renewed only to discover it was again for 30 dys. Obviously their CS leaves a lot to be desired.
I looked in vain for an e-mail address as I would prefer to have communicated with them in that way rather than having to write a "review", but none was found. Dealing with CS by ph. is a lost cause.

office staff terrible

Review Florida Otolaryngology Group, P.A., Orlando, FL ENT:Let me start by saying the Dr. was ok. The problem is the office staff. I went in to have a simple 5 minute proceedure done. I was told that my only prortion was my $50 copay. I agreed to this. Then I recieved a letter from them stating that it was actually a $600 proceedure and I was responsible for about $250. Thinking this was was a mistake, I called the office and they told me that it was not a mistake and I owe them $250. I explaind this was never disclosed to me. Had I known that this was the cost the cost for a 5 minute proceedure, I would not have done it. The front office staff was not truthful, then tried to blame me for the mistake. They said "we did not do anything wrong, how are we supposed to know what your insurance will pay". Well I thought that was their job. They refused to admit any wrongdoing and said it will go to collections in i dont pay it. I was astonished at the lack of customer service and accountability in the insurance / office department. At one point the man in charge of handling insurance claims told me "that person that gave you the misinformation is no longer with us, but you are still responsible for the balance".
