I, Jamie Rodriguez, am owner and artistic director of Dancer's Edge Dance Studios in Winter Park Florida. As a licentiate member of the Cecchetti Council of America, I teach the method of ballet developed by Enrico Cecchetti which expands upon the principles set forth by Carlo Blasis. In addition to offering classical ballet, we also offer hip hop and unique performing opportunities under the direction of William Marchante, choreographer and artistic director of Casting Shadows Productions. My staff also includes Sarah Fanok, ballet instructor and former apprentice with the Sarasota Ballet Company, Steven Johnson, professional dancer, our tap, jazz and lyrical instructor and Rachel Brown, along with her accompanist El Papi, conduct the flamenco classes. We all strive to provide a positive environment for the growth and development of each individual student.

We also offer amazing performance opportunities throughout the year for our students - A Contemporary Production Company and a Ballet Production Company. The student MUST have have a teacher recommendation/approval before joining either company. Once in either Company, the Rehearsal/Production Class and a minimum of one ballet class are required. If the student is in both Companies, two classes are required (one ballet class and one of his/her choice).
