I am a former tenant of Village Realty and though I was a perfect tenant ( always paid my rent on time, caused no trouble or damage, and cleaned the apartment upon my departure), I was forced to incur a ridiculous fee to obtain the return of my deposit. I understand that the state of the economy justifiably causes companies to pinch pennies; however, I believe this was an unethical business dicision. This ridiculous fee depleted the amount of my deposit return and I feel that it was done in an effort to avoid returning the deposit; of which was agreed in the contract. I wouldn't recommend Village Realty at ALL!
