I took my car to Midas at 5526 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington, NC 28412 on Thursday, May 19, 2016 for an oil change and inspection, I came away with a dented hood and a horrid customer service experience. They claim they did not dent my hood and that it looked like someone had sat on it. It’s funny, the dent was “up.” It was from the inside… Looked to me like they may have accidentally shut the hood with something left on the engine block. The dent certainly wasn’t there before I took my car in. I had not even driven the car to any public places before noticing the dent and I live in a private area. So, certainly it wasn’t sat on as they claim.



Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Midas on Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington! They are disrespectful and dishonest! Now, I get to think about them every time I get in my car and the couple hundred dollars of damage that they did to it while it was in their care.

A 7:30 apt I made was not kept.The manager arrived late.When i asked he responded "Are we over that!?"Work began after 8 and lasted most of the day.Most of that day the mechanic was working on other cars.

I liked being able to schedule an appointment to install new breaks. I dropped my car off in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day. Also had a very friendly feel and the staff explained any further issues with my truck.

By far the cleanest shop I've ever been too. The lobby is comparable to that of a home style living room with leather couches and reclining seats which makes the wait go by much easier. The services performed were done honestly and thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this auto shop to the southern region of Wilmington.
