I dropped off my television to be repaired by Brandywine Television Services on the afternoon of September 29th 2014. I chose this place because they advertise "Fast Service" on their street sign. The television worked but, according to research, the red L.E.D. chip went bad, so the TV did not display the color red.



Upon dropping off my television I paid a $25.00 non refundable "diagnostic fee". I was told by the gentleman at the counter that it would be diagnosed that week, but if I didn't hear from them by Saturday (October 4th) then I should call.



I didn't hear from them so I called Saturday, October 4th, and they said that they did not get around to looking at it yet and I should call in the middle of the following week if I did not hear from them.



I called Thursday, October 9th because I had yet to hear from them. I was told that the technician was out for the past few days and they should be getting around to diagnosing the television shortly.



I called Tuesday, October 14th and they said that the technician has still not had a chance to look at my television because he is still out and they will diagnose my television later in the week and call me with the repairs needed. I asked if it would be possible to pick up my television and get a refund of my $25.00, since they have not had a chance to diagnose it and the man on the phone said that it was non-refundable.



I called around to a few places that repairs televisions and their turnaround for diagnosing problems with most televisions is within 72 hours and repairs within 10 days of dropping the television off. When I asked specifically about the problem my television was having they said that it usually takes 4 to 5 days. It has been 21 days and they have not even looked at my television.



Long story short, they are horrible.

I had an excellent experience there. apparently they just recently got rid of an unruly employee, and i imagine thats why every review is terrible. i brought my tv in, was called the next day with an estimate, and my tv was ready the day after that. Every other TV repair place iv been to has been just as bad as every review on here but BTV just made my holiday. Couldnt be more suprised or more Thankful! Happy Thanksgiving!

I recently brought a set to the shop due to the screen going out, giving them a second chance to redeem them selves I brought it there and they told me a few days, a week goes by, no call... I call them, they say, "well we didnt get a chance to check it yet, give us a few days." I see speedy service on the BTS business card as I hang up the phone.... I called them back and told them I will be there to get my tv.... They stated that I cannot receive my 25 dollar deposit that I placed when I first dropped it off... They did not look at the tv for 1 1/2 weeks.... SO I spent 25 dollars to have my tv in storage at BTS for 1 1/2 weeks... Thats BS, I would b a fool to take another tv back BTS and so would you! I'm thinking CB Joes.....

Two years ago I took a tv to the shop due to a blank screen, got it back and noticed that the picture was bigger than the screen, explained to them the situation and they stated that there is nothing they can due about it.... They need to be put out of business.....Honestly.....

not so fast service

I placed 2 televisions with Brandywine. They told me I would be called in 1 week to let us know what was wrong and how much it would cost. That was 2 months ago. I have called and questioned them. Getting answers like "the tech is going to get to it today." "Someone will call you back", I went in and the tech's were not even there. The man at the counter said the boss would call me today with an answer. He found one on the back counter taken apart, the other one he could not find. The man told me that the job must have fallon thru the crack. They say "fast service" on the business card.
