In response to the review made by pjpartyl, 12/9/2010, I knew this family and was one of this child's teachers. First of all, this is a bilingual family where the parent and child hardly understood English. The child was at the facility for 1/2 day and not enrolled in the regular kindergarten program. Yes Ms. Patie who was the Center director at the time, called the grade school to inform them that the child did not attend our Kindergarten program as the parent may have told them and was far behind in his learning and would not be ready for first grade. Grades are only given for children enrolled in our Kindergarten program.



On the second note of children getting hurt all the time with injured heads, cuts and bruises, etc. this is bogus. Teachers are constantly interacting with the children as they play. Of course there will sometimes be some minor injuries but it is rare that there would be a serious head injury. If a child happens to hit his/her head in any way, the parent is immediately called. All injuries are also attended to immediately.

This child was not even at the center for lunch so I don't know how the parent can make any kind of accusation about allergies.

Unfortunately, this parent didn't understand that this child need extra help in his learning and that the time he was at the center was not part of the Kindergarten program. It is hard for me to believe that this child is more advanced than other children in his class.

We teach children and help them progress at their own level. We help bilingual children learn English. We try to work with parents in every way to help their child learn and succeed in their learning process.

My son attended Kindercare in Willowbrook, IL from Oct 2009 to Jun 2010.When I signed him up Mrs.Patty promissed to me that they will get him ready for first grade.After a couple of months they told me about extra programs they offer.Besides 188$/week I was offered extra programs to pay even more.And not only that.My son again attends kindergarten but in public school.He is more advanced than other children in his class but thanks to the director Mrs.Patty he never got any evaluation or any grades.Last time when I went to the facility to ask for grades or anything that he attended the kindergarten I was told by Patty that they do not give any grades or evaluation.Than she asked me where will he attend the school and asked me if he will be with them for after school which would never happened.5 minutes after I left she had a nerve to call the principal at the public school and to tell her that my son is not ready for the first grade and that he was there not for kindergarten but just for childcare.I'm a stay at home mom.I didn't need to spend 188$/week so that they can care for my son.They promissed allot but at the end I got screwed up and my son lost a year.Everyone that heard my story told me to sue them and at the end I will do that.Since I was lied to I will demand all my money back.I just wanted to make you aware of what is going on.I'm writing a review and my experience on every web site I can find so that others won't waste time and money. And also when kids play outside they are not watched out.Almost every week I've witnessed kids with injured heads,cuts,bruises,etc.I had to see that even with my soon.I also my kid never had any alergies.I have no idea what they gave him to eat but we were in a period of 1 week 3 time at the ER.He had his alergies on body and they were moving and dissapearing.They said everthing in school was "normal" YEAH RIGHT
