We've been using Best Friends for years and wouldn't take out baby anywhere else. The staff know her well and make sure she has a great stay, including Turkey dinner on Thanksgiving! We get pictures during her stay to keep us updated which the kids really love!

We have taken Roxie to Best Friends Of Willow Grove for close to ten years and she seems to love it. She never has shown any reluctance to go inside. The staff is always happy to see her and she is always happy to see them!

Kennel Cough TERRIBLE

This is the WORST place!!! Our dog got kennel cough from here recently!!! We had to go away recently and we boarded our 2 dogs here. It was the worst experience ever. We learned that after they were boarded our dog had kennel cough...$150 dollars later from the vet. This all happened of course the day before Thanksgiving so we couldn't board our dogs again and we were unable to travel to see our family. We were extremely upset about this and called to speak to the manager who then referred us to her manager who was extremely unprofessional unsympathetic. She not only didn't care that our dog had kennel cough from her facility but also the risk that other dogs contracted kennel cough. It's a shame that customer service means nothing to this facility, not to mention that she didn't seem to care about other dogs who were sick. Do not take your pet here!!!!! Terrible!!

I am writing to express my EXT...

I am writing to express my EXTREME disappointment with my recent visit to this location. My dog has stayed with Best Friends before, and I have always had a great experience. That being said, I was unaware of the (new?) charges for "Arrival and Departure Day Play", even though I booked the "Play and Stay Group". What exactly does that additional charge cover? The staff was unable to provide an answer. Since I was NOT informed of this service prior to pick up, you can imagine my surprise to see the bill. For my dog to "play and stay" for EXACTLY 24 hours, it cost me $97. This, frankly, is downright ridiculous. If I was to travel just an additional 5 miles, my dog could participate in group play and boarding at an equally reputable establishment for only $40. Which is exactly what I intend to do in the future. I saw ABSOLUTELY no additional benefit to pay over DOUBLE the price of other boarding facilities. I hope for the sake of your other customers, these charges be clearly explained prior to pick up, so that they are not as aggravated and insulted as I am.

Small and Cold!

Obviously that first review was by the owner.

We stopped by today to check out the facility before bringing our dogs. The outdoor area for the dogs to poop is literally a 6x4 foot run with a large trash can in it, just big enough for one dog to circle. The inside play areas are little rooms that can fit maybe 5 dogs. Your dog has two cage varieties, SHELTER style or a small painted room the size of your bathroom. They charge ridiculous fees for what they call "luxury boarding" which is actually throwing your dog in a run and stopping by for 10 minutes twice a day to let them out. If you want anything else you have to pay! That's right, if you'd like some loving, that will cost you! A 10 minute lousy playtime for $8 and playgroup for only 45 minutes for $12. Last I checked if you pay for your dog to have socialization and leave them there for 5 hours, a 45 minute circle session just wont do the trick. You could pay for a walk if you'd like, that will be $10 to walk him around the cement driveway out front, I'm sure petting is extra as well.

Take a few minutes, go on their website and take a look at their play sessions. The employees sit on their bums and text message while the dogs stare at them waiting for some interaction.

This is NOT a place I'd recommend.
