My 23-year-old daughter passed away earlier this year, her dad & I met with Eddy at the funeral home to make arrangements. He took down my address & promised me 5 copies of her death certificate. At the end of the meeting, her dad signed the contract and payment agreement, I didn't. There were 4 other people in the room who can attest to the fact that I was told I would receive 5 copies of the death certificate. I called them a couple of months later to see if they had received the certificates yet, & I asked about my copies. She said the state had just issued it & they would be getting them soon, & that yes, I would indeed receive 5 copies of it. A few weeks went by & I had not received them, so I called again. She said that since her dad had signed the contract and I didn't, all 10 copies were given to him. Why wasn't I told this from the very beginning? I even talked to the owner, Seth Coughlin, and he basically said that Eddy wouldn't say something that wasn't true.
