My recent experience with gatormade trailers mfg. has not been a positive one. While I believe the basic trailer is a well engineered trailer and the wiring is of good quality the paint system is in need of much improvement. I was a business owner in the excavating business for 31 years (1977-2008) I have learned that there can and will always be problems,issues & concerns with services provided when you are in business and dealing with the public. But if those problems, issues & concerns are addressed in a timely manner the customer will think more of you and your company than if there was never a problem in the first place. Like the saying goes, "If you do a customer a good job 10 people will hear about it, if you you do a customer a bad job 100 people will hear about it. I purchased a new 20/5 gooseneck trailer from Gatormade Inc. and accepted delivery on 2/14/2015. It was snowing very hard the day I picked up the trailer. I brought the trailer to my shop (which is heated) allowed it to melt the ice & snow overnight. Presurred washed the trailer the next day and put the trailer in one of my buildings until its first use in May 2015. After just 3 short trips hauling my skid steer loader I noticed the paint pealing off the trailer in many areas. I even found several area's where the trailer wasn't painted at all. While Gator Made clearly states there is "No Warranty" on the paint I never expected the paint to literally fall off the trailer. There are several places "inside the tool compartment" where the paint is falling off. All I expect as a paying customer is to get what I paid for, I'm not looking to get "Something for Nothing". However I can not get "ANYONE" to respont to my many phone calls on this matter. The salesman BRAGGED about there new "State of the Art" powder coating paint system recently installed in there factory. It my be a great "New" paint system but my trailer missed the mark. It has become so frustrating to get anyone to at least return any of the many phones calls to address the issue. I've even sent n less than 10 pictures of the failing paint job. It seems Gator Made deals with a problem by "NOT DEALING WITH THE PROBLEM" If anyone even thinking of purchasing a Gator Made Trailer and would like me to sent them the photo's of my trailer and the substandard paint job I will gladly do so. I would have accepted if Gator Made would just exchange my trailer with one that was painted properly, but now I will stop at nothing to get my money returned to me and I will purchase another brand of trailer. I am so dissapointed at the lack of concern with the substandard product I recieved from Gator Made Inc. I will spend whatever dollars it takes to have legal counsel take care of the issue.
