Jolly Plumbing was founded in 1979 by its President, Barry T. Jolly. The company began with two employees, Barry in the field and his wife Susan in the office. "We were determined to succeed," he says. "We were willing to work wherever and whenever, in order to provide great service." On many occasions, Susan would assist Barry on emergency service calls, helping in any way she could. For ten years, Jolly Plumbing worked out of the Jolly's home in Alexandria, Kentucky. In 1989, the business was moved to an office and warehouse at 8333 Alexandria Pike; Alexandria, Kentucky. In 1992, the company was moved to its present location in Wilder, Kentucky. Being located directly off of I-275 provides a prime location, allowing Jolly Plumbing to respond to service calls all over Greater Cincinnati in a quick and efficient manner. Over the past 30 years, Jolly Plumbing has grown steadily to its present size of approximately 30 employees. Jolly takes pride when he says, "Jolly Plumbing has worked hard over the years to obtain and keep good, reliable employees. Our benefit package is excellent, which allows us to offer ouremployees a quality place to work. Several employees have been with us for over ten years." Jolly Plumbing's steady growth has been due to its commitment to excellent service. Providing dependable, same day, 24 hour service has been the company's standard since its origin. Whether it is an emergency drain clog, septic tank pumping, water line break, backhoe work, running faucet, or a leaking water heater, Jolly Plumbing is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Over the years, Jolly Plumbing has been aggressive in buying other plumbing companies who share the same principles of quality service. In 1984, Weibel Plumbing of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky became a part of Jolly Plumbing. In the early 90's ,Jolly Plumbing added two Cincinnati companies, Dorney Plumbing of Hyde Park and Herzer Plumbing of Price Hill. In 2000, Pumphouse Plumbing was purchased by Jolly Plumbing, allowing us to become one of Greater Cincinnati's largest service based plumbing contractors. Jolly Plumbing has been the recipient of many awards. In 1997, Jolly Plumbing recieved the Success Award from the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, and Barry Jolly was named the 1st Runner Up Small Businessman of the Year in the State of Kentucky by the United States Small Business Administration. In 1998, the United States Chamber of Commerce presented Jolly Plumbing with the prestigous Blue Chip Award. Three times Jolly Plumbing has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Northern Kentucky, by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Thirty Program. Jolly Plumbing's Mission is to continue to provide great service to all of Cincinnati, to provide a good workplace for its employees, and to strive to be an asset to the community.
