Mr. Eric Maybee provided an extremely subpar inspection. He missed things that should have been obvious for an inspector and sadly, I caught them within days of moving in. Mr. Maybee totally missed thousands of dollars of issues on the roof which I noticed within 5 minutes, unfortunately this was after I bought the home and simply went on the roof to touch up the trim. Worst mistake I made was trusting an inspector and an additional roofer and not looking myself. Mr. Maybee also missed $$$ of damage and other issues in the crawl space. He also did not see steel wool shoved in the corners of rooms where mice chewed through the carpet....I now know what to look for, but as a seasoned inspector he should have caught these issues. Mr. Maybee was also the inspector for a house one of my co-workers just purchased. None of the outlets in the garage work and the lights were wired using spliced-in extension cords. These were issues Mr. Maybee missed and which will cost substantial $$ to fix.
