L A Cafe Lives Again!
Many fans were saddened when everyone's favorite dining secret, the Whitestown L A Cafe, closed in fall 2008. But the news is great -- the L A is back and it is wonderful. Expect the same urban-chic motorcycle shop decor -- even the "biker babe" posters look the same. New management and a new chef are delivering the legendary quality with wonderful dishes made in-house. A nice selection of sandwiches are available in addition to the featured entrees. HUGE shrimp and scallops, fresh fish selections, fine steaks and a broad selection of pasts dishes fill out the menu. Be sure to meet Dino -- a wine expert extraordinaire who can suggest , inform and advise with low-key charm.
