Car died at a nearby business. Called South Main Marathon, they said call Dynasty towing and have the car towed to the station where they could look at it. Tow company said its$88 for a tow, and that I could pay South Main Marathon. South Main Marathon fixed the car (it was just a bad battery), and gave me a whopper of a bill. $400 to tow and change the battery. They charged me $118 for the tow (there's $30 for doing nothing but taking in work) then $55 for a diagnostic test and another $55 to install the battery. So $110 for maybe an hour's work? Add in the $160 for the battery (!) and there's four bills down the drain. I understand needing to make some profit, but guarantee I am not going to be a repeat customer. I was gouged.
