Provided by YP.comA tension crack or crack in the original stone might not manifest itself for many years. We purchased granite and installation from Mendoza's several years ago, and were pleased. Now though, behind our faucet, there is a 4 ft long, 1/8 in. wide, 1/4 in. deep crack! After months of un-returned calls, Mendoza's finally sent the original installer to our home. He arrived with a "translator", as he barely spoke English. He said maybe there was a leak in our faucet, that caused the stone to crack. A slight intermittent dripping of water causing stone to crack? What?! Then he said maybe he could repair it for around $400. Assuming that something this expensive would have a lifetime guarantee, we were shocked to learn that it was only guaranteed for 1 year! Granite is costly. Homeowner's ins. won't cover what our ins. co. and numerous contractors called "poor installation". Buyer beware and find a company that backs their materials and installation!

Provided by YP.comI have dealt with Mendoza Marble and Granite once to do my kitchen counters, and then again to do put marble in my downstairs bathroom. Both times, stellar job. I was really happy with their service, and I like to support local businesses whenever I can. Good people and quality work.
