How can you face yourself?
I guess you can sham everyone as no one will ever know the malfeasance, derelict of function-you do
Why would mispresent your ability?
Why didn’t you just say no, I cannot handle it or even say-let me refer you to someone who could?
Instead
You have systematically destroyed everything in my life trying to be some hero, savior which you are not even close.
Your only ability was to settle everything: as you misrepresented your abilities, capabilities crushed the essence of what I built, and could be built and ruined my integrity and most of all caused my family hardship and shame.

My husband and I recently went to the law office of Scott Berkoben in Westwood, NJ. Our primary purpose was to obtain two living wills and a Last Will and Testament. I was able to get an appointment with ease and there was no charge for the initial consultation. My husband and I, having little knowledge of the process and paperwork involved, were given a clear explanation of what was to be contained in these documents by both Mr. Berkoben and his office staff. The paperwork was done in a timely manner (within 10 days), and after the signing all those that required copies of that paperwork had obtained it within 2 weeks. Overall, Mr. Berkoben and his staff were friendly and a pleasure to work with, and we would work with him and his staff in the future if needed!

My husband and I retained Mr. Berkoben on recommendation from a family member and have regretted it since!! He charged us $500 to "investigate" our case and four days before court I had to track him down just for him to tell me the numbers "didn't add up" which is what I TOLD HIM when we met!!!! He was no help, he didn't represent us, and our case is still going on no thanks to him!! Now I've been trying to get in touch with him and he refuses to call us back!! He got his money for doing nothing and now he is not interested in what we have to say!!

My suggestion is RUN AWAY! I have also recommended my family member find a good attorney and not this quack!!

We recently had to work with Mr. Berkoben on a home closing and he was a nightmare every step of the way. He was never available, dragged on the process an entire month longer than necessary, and was unprofessional enough to not even show up to the closing (not to mention, he did not even make contact with our attorney's office to let us know he would not be joining us until he was already over an hour late). We almost backed away from the deal two times due to his disinterest in the transaction, lack of communication, and rude nature. Even his client's Realtor was embarrassed by the nature in which he conducted business and stated she did not recommend using him. If you are considering him, don't, and if he is the attorney representing the seller of a house you want, forget moving forward with the deal (even if the house is free!)...it's more of a headache than anyone should have to be subjected to.
