Founded as a residential paving company, K-Five has expanded into one of the largest unionized paving contractors in Illinois. It has annual sales in excess of $100 million and more than 500 employees. K-Five also operates high production portable concrete plants. In addition to being a producer of asphalt and concrete, the company also offers estimating, project management, general contracting and sub-contracting services. With a main office located in Lemont, Ill., K-Five also has offices and asphalt plants in Chicago, Elmhurst, Markham and Naperville, Ill.
