Description Of Work: We had a very old septic system that needed to be updated (40+ years old). We called a few companies to get bids and went with Sewer Works because Dave Chandler (owner) provided a good price and was able to have an architect sketch up the layout for the septic on our land. Since Dave installs many septic systems in Westford, MA, he is very familiar with the town regulations and friendly with the town inspectors. Dave was clear from the start that his estimate was based on what was expected to be found underground but would vary if the existing system was different when he started digging. Comments: Dave had a clear plan for excavation and was sensitive to the fact that we are gardeners and wanted to preserve our garden bed material as much as possible. He was also sensitive to the fact that we wanted him to do his best to keep a rock wall that was on the edge of the dig site even though it was not a sturdy wall.
