This year Clarich Mold Corp is celebrating 33 years of excellence in quality craftsmanship and customer service. Clarich was founded in October of 1968 by the current owner's father, Clarence Buenger, and his partner Rich Little, hence the company's name ( a combination of Clarence and Rich ). The company's first facility was located in Lyons on 47th Street. In 1969, the company moved to Melrose Park. Clarich moved again in 1972 to North Lake. After 6 years, in 1978, Clarich moved to its present location in Westchester. The current president, John M. Buenger, has been with the company since 1969. He took over as president after his father's passing in 1981. Mike Province, the Vice President, is celebrating 30 years of service to the company this year. He became Vice President and a partner in 1991. Liz Wilson, the office manager, is celebrating 13 years with the company. Rich Saviano, the shop foreman, has been a part of the company for 29 years and Tim Province, head of the CNC department, is celebrating 13 years. We offer over 100 years of combined experience! While never forgetting our roots, we at Clarich Mold Corp continually have an eye on the future. We strive to provide our customers with the perfect mixture of old world craftsmanship and modern technology. For example, since 1983 we have utilized CNC computer work. Now, in the new Millennium, we use customer generated models transmitted over cable ( DSL ) which we integrate into our design & manufacturing. In addition, because of the shortage of skilled mold makers in our industry, Clarich Mold has made an investment in the future by training apprentices while at the same time providing for their college courses. Keeping our industry alive is an undertaking of great importance which should be supported and embraced. By granting Clarich your business, you too are helping to sustain the tool and die industry.
