Hispanic Human Resources Council, established in 1977, is a nonprofit community-based organization. It offers a variety of intergenerational and multicultural service programs, such as child care, senior services, business and economic development, affordable housing, advocacy, translation, training and referral services. The organization operates child development centers that provide child care for low income, disadvantaged families and children at risk. It serves more than 300 children ranging in age from infant to 5 years. Its centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Additionally, the organization offers outreach programs for people suffering from Alzheimer s disease and diabetes. Located in West Palm beach, Fla., Hispanic Human Resources Council is an agency of the United Way.
