My 2 friends and I agree that the sushi here is extremely good! We've eaten here 3 times now and it's consistently good! We love the Spicy Tuna! I think that thr reviewer sns4rc works for waterfront. You can tell by reading his/her false, cheesy review. G

I had just moved into the area when I went to this place. I had moved here from Colorado Springs and I was accustomed to good quality Sushi. I decided to give this place a try. I wanted my sushi to go. I walked to the sushi bar and the service was pleasant enough, I marked my order on the card. My wait was short so I thought this would be a good sign since it appeared they were on the ball. I was wrong.

There was a distinct odor about the pieces that told me they were far from fresh. I know that frozen fish can smell a little fishy and still be considered safe, the pieces were not cheap so I decided I would go on and give them a taste. My mistake. I did not get sick, but it had to be the worst tasting sushi I have had ever.

I decided not to order sushi again in Iowa. Then 6 months later I came upon the waterfront fish market. I noticed the sushi bar there. MUCH BETTER! It would make since to order sushi from a fish market that would have much fresher cuts. I suggest you do the same.
