Roberts & Dybdahl s origins can be traced to 1955 when Howard Roberts and Hub Dybdahl formed a partnership known as Carroll Wholesale. Carroll Wholesale distributed basic lumber products to retail lumber dealers in Iowa. By 1965, the company had expanded both its product line and the geographic area it served, and the company was incorporated as Roberts & Dybdahl. The company is a leading Midwest wholesale distributor of a line of lumber, lumber products and building materials. It serves customers in nearly 15 Midwestern states from its more than 10 distribution centers. The company distributes many different products that include items such as dimension lumber, treated lumber, boards, panel products, timbers, siding, fiber cement siding and engineered wood products. It also manufactures a variety of building components, such as roof and floor trusses at its nearly 10 truss manufacturing facilities. Roberts & Dybdahl maintains a location in West Des Moines, Iowa.
