HORRIBLE GROOMING EXP.

The store it self is your typical Pets-Mart. However, the they employ un-friendly, and intimidated groomers/bathers'. I have a three yr old German Shepard who has spent her life in and out of the Groomers with no problem. Until we started taking her there. They allow the dogs to run a muck- and pull them around. I was embarrassing to me as the owner to see my dog behave in such a way. I have always been told that my dogs behave better then most people's children- until know. My most recent experience began with my one year son leading her through the store- she heeled to him like a champ. When the Groomer came to get her, she turned into a scrambling mess. So I asked if we could work though this... And was rudely told "NO, your dog is a mess and we will not tolerate this behavior." I replied "Wait a minute... She was here two weeks ago with NO problems. And was told she behaved like a lady." She said "No, we won't deal with a dog like this." At which time I fired back "So you mean to tell me you are going to allow this dog to run the gambit here? And to top it off- I would venture to say she seems to be reacting to you handling her- because you just watched my one yr old son walk her though the door." She was admit that it was 'my dog' and she wouldn't deal with her. (She claimed she was the Mgr on duty, so I had already reached the top of my "Chain of Command".)

Deciding that it would be best if I leave- we did. My husband and I decided to try the Pets-Mart Groomer on Valley Near Walnut. We spoke with Patty- who agreed to take her knowing full well what we had been through and what the dog's reaction was. As of yesterday- she was successfully groomed and according to 'Patty' she was not at all 'Bad'. She could see where there may had been issues- however, advised us that she addressed them and they ceased to continue. So, with that said... We are convinced that the Azusa Pet's-Mart Groomer's were not capable of dealing with our dog.

I am truly disgusted with my experiences at this Location, and will NEVER recommend it to anyone. It is worth the extra 10 miles each way to go to Walnut.
