I'd tell them to skip it and go to a family owned bike store. After being in the store for 15 minutes without so much as a word from any of the 3 male employees, I went to the counter where one employee was on the computer. I told him I came into the store prepared to drop a large sum of money on a bike, but since I was ignored(one of the 3 employees even left the store and walked around the parking lot as if bored), I would take my business elsewhere. I told him how I observed a man and woman receive immediate attention when they came into the store. He attempted to apologize but I told him it was same old bull...a lone female walking into such a business is seen as zero $, even though we make up over half of the workforce and get paid less than males. It was their loss. I drove north and visited a family owned bike shop and left an hour later with my new bike. I was greeted immediately and received impeccable service. The store was very busy, but employees were attentive and friendly. Montgomery Cyclery sucks!
