Established in 1929, Precision Gage & Tool Co. specializes in the manufacture of grind gages and film applicators for the ink and paint industries. Located in Dayton, Ohio, it also manufactures gages for railroads and railroad equipment. In 1998, the company acquired the complete line of Sheffield gages, including Precisionaire, Micronaire and electronic column systems, paper/bearing gages, air gage tooling, manual gaging fixtures and P-400. Precision Gage & Tool Co. is an ISO 9001: 2000 certified firm. It supplies gages to a number of companies, such as Amtrak, Brenco, Columbus Steel Castings, CSX, McConway & Torley Group and many more.
