I use your Middletown RI location because it's close to home, the staff is outstanding, and the produce dept. is superior to other local grocers in my area. The deli is the first rate and always well stocked.

I do however take exception to the continued use of single-use plastic bags and styrofoam. I believe that the continued promotion of these products is detrimental to the consumer and our environment as well as the health of our planet. I take this issue very seriously and hope that you do as well. Without singling out Shaw's regarding this important issue.

I look forward to your feedback on this matter and welcome any suggestions you would share.

Seems as though every time I go to the store (bi-weekly) the grocery bags get thinner and thinner and thinner!!! it now takes 3 bags to bag my items because no matter what you put in them or how lightly you bag them, the bags split right down the sides. My husband and I are both seniors and live in a second floor apartment. Not only did I just lose a 16.00 bottle of wine that smashed all over the place, but my vegetables all went tumbling down the stairs. The bagger and I both had a hell of a time finding a bag that didn't split down the side. This is not a "bad batch" of bags.....this is EVERY visit. I triple bagged this wine and double bagged each other item and they still split and threw my groceries all over the place. if you are trying to save money by buying cheaper/thinner bags, this strategy has failed as now we have to use 3 or 4 bags instead of one. I might have to start shopping at Hannaford because they are the only local grocery that still uses bags that are tough enough to carry your groceries...perhaps you're trying to turn people off from plastic to save the environment? But...not only am I out about $20 this trip, but I dont have my wine....which makes me very testy. Please do something about the quality of your bags.

This review refers to the Sturbridge, MA store. Multiple times I've seen expired food and rotted food on their shelves and in their cases. Just this week I bought Goya Mexican rice and it had expired in July of 2017!!! Never enough checkouts open or enough baggers. I've had stale baked goods and moldy yogurt. No wonder Shaws stores are closing. I won't be returning. Wake up corporate!

I have been a patron of the Sharon store for over 30 years so it was really nice to see the store recently renovated. Unfortunately looks only go so far. The inventory is lacking and the produce quality is fair to say the least. Each time I go I find another item you no longer carry. In my visit yesterday I went to purchase a perishable item but found it had expired 2 weeks prior. This is not the first time.
This store has always been my go-to location as it was convenient and had the items I wanted. Well it looks like I will have to find a new go-to store and it will not be a Shaws.

Investigators have confirmed Enquirer's collusion with Trump in payment cover-up. Shaws should end their relationship with this dishonest, Trump political propaganda corporation. Pull all copies from checkout lanes now. If not, time to boycott Shaws.

A few months ago my wife & I found a cold cereal, Grain Berry Multi Bran Flakes, we enjoyed very much at the Shaws Supermarket located in Burlington MA. Unfortunately a few weeks ago this cereal disappeared from the store's shelves. I've inquired several times about restocking this cereal and finally yesterday I was told that Shaws would no longer stock this cereal in it's distribution center.

My obvious request is that Shaws, which is within a mile of our home, restock this healthy and delicious Grain Berry Multi Bran Flakes cereal to its shelves.

it is discusting the didgital coupon deal that retired people living on social security bareley makeing it were told we dont get it unless we get a phone so we can get an ap some day youll be retired its said what do i do not eat for a month so i then buy a phone and then no idear how to use it

Customer service was awful. Had a associate at customer service desk call another assiciate a mental case to us. I work for a large department store and work at the service desk and would never call any of my co workers names to a customer. I dont know the associates name, but it was Sunday Oct 28th at twelve noon.
