Pennex Aluminum Company, a division of the Metal Exchange Corporation, operates an aluminum extrusion plant located in south-central Pennsylvania. Utilizing a 1,675-ton seven-inch press, and a 2,500-ton eight-inch press, the company serves the commercial and residential building products, transportation, distribution and consumer durable markets. It also has an on-site billet casting facility, thermal fill and debridge line and laboratory to help the company control every facet of its cost, from raw material through finished product. A range of standard solids and hollows are available in most 6XXX series alloys in addition to the assistance offered in designing and engineering custom profiles.
