My momma started that buffet and it is the best around, also the best fried chicken!

Long-established restaurant specializing in barbecued pork and chicken in the eastern NC tradition--vingegar based. I did not like it much at first but now I could eat it every day. Don't worry, they also serve beef and fish. Great garden vegatables, freshest tossed salad, and a tub full of banana pudding. Buffet is ALL YOU CAN EAT. You can also order from the menu. Friday they also have seafood on the buffet. This is food worth going out of your way for--and so many people do every day. No credit cards or out of town checks--but you won't care. Wear elastic waist pants. You will be glad you did.

A great affordable place to enjoy NC style BBQ at it's finest. My friends and family have been going to Ralph's BBQ for many decades. When we are in the area we alway bring some back home. The buffet is the best around. The hushpuppies and the banana pudding are to die for.
