I have never seen hustle and service like I did today at Caulkins Conoco.

One of our tires picked up a nail or something and the console began reporting 29psi, 28psi, 27psi, etc. This is not a good thing.

We pulled into Caulkins. I disembarked for the dispatcher while my buddy parked the car in front of the least-occupied bay.

I spoke with Alan about getting the tire fixed, remarking that they looked very busy. "Nope, we can get to it right away," says he. He returns 30 seconds later to report, "Heck, they'd already started on it before I got there."

In less time than I could find a place to sit and open email on my cell phone, Alan returned with a $15 ticket saying, "Ready to go!". In and out in way less than 20 minutes, perhaps 10.

I can't say enough nice things about Caulkins Conoco, Alan the jack of many trades, and their service staff.

The only place I use. I buy my fuel from here and have my vehicle repaired here. They are fast and good. They do my oil changes and take care of whatever I need done. Truly a full service place.

Bobby worked on my car even when they were very busy. Always quick and professional.

I am a 62 year old widow who was taken advantage of by Caulkins Conoco. My car started making loud knocking noises & losing power &I took it to Caulkins Conoco. First thing they told me was I needed two brand new tires. The mechanic drove the car. I was called the next day & told the car was done. I was told the computer showed that it needed a oxygen senser & they fixed it. I went to pay and the mechanic said, "The car is making a tapping sound. " Ok, I thought better than knocking noise & paid. I started the car & it sounded the same as I brought in, drove it home and it died. I took to another shop to check it out & they drove it and said it is something internal in the engine and didn't charge me anything. I called two mechanics who work on engines & only described the noise & what the car was doing & knew it was a blown rod & basicly said cheaper to get a used car. Now I have a useless car with 2 brand new tires I was told were still good & out over $350.00.

Just got an oil change everything good...the tech informed me of things that were ok and things I needed to take a look at. I got in my car and noticed a headlight lamp cover in my passenger seat. It was a fog lamp cover. I guess it was knocked loose after the hood was closed. NOBODY INFORMED ME OF THIS . I am extremely disappointed in the way this was all handled.
