When I first moved in, the staff seemed friendly and nice. They promised me a new kitchen fixture and to put me on the waiting list for a car space in my building. They didn't replace the fixture and I later found out there was no waiting list and their response was that there simply wasn't enough spaces in the building. Yet, two people moved in on my floor and both got spaces in the building. When I was ready to move out, I asked to purchase additional weeks so I could have some overlap. Instead, they tried to get me to move out by 9 a.m. the day my lease ended. When I said that I would essentially be homeless for a day, they were completely unsympathetic and said everyone has to deal with the same thing. When I said I couldn't even get a truck by 9 a.m., they said they couldn't have me there. I said my lease says noon. She was like oh yeah, noon then. Unbelievable. I work for the Army and move around a lot. Every other place I've lived, people have been so nice and accommodating and I've always gotten my full security deposit back. I guarantee I won't get it back from these trolls. Also, their on site dryers are useless. You will have to go to a laundromat. I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere.

As a current resident of Mountain Village Apartments, I would tell anyone and everyone I know to steer clear of this apartment complex. The complex is grossly mismanaged and the staff does nothing to meet the needs of its residents. I have too many stories of the frankly neglectful nature of its operations to list here. If you are looking for an apartment building that makes its residents feel safe and comfortable (let alone return your maintenance calls), look elsewhere.
