After being referred to the welding program from a friend I decided to check out the school. Since then I am now a graduate from this welding program and things are going great for me. The school is straight forward with everything they tell you.

I recently graduated from Penn Commercial's Networking program about 2 months ago. I now have a full time job and things are going great for myself. While viewing this page another commented bothered me about the networking program. My instructors Stephen K and Rick B were great instructors and very knowledgeable on this industry. They surely gave all of their time and energy to see myself and others succeed in the program. I am proud that I chose Penn Commercial to better my future!

I worked 2 years in gas & oil. The money was good but I couldn't rely on the work. It would come and go. A friend of my went to Penn Commercial for electrician and is doing well. I enrolled in the electrician program and graduated 4 months ago. Great experience with lots of hands on (residential, commercial wiring, plc's). Placement sent me on 4 interviews and I got a job. I'm making good money with room for grow. Thank you to my teachers & Kristin in placement. If you want to better your life, I can't speak for all programs, but the electrician program sure bettered mine.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. This school is a giant waste of time & money. The admission representatives lied about what the network admin would have. We never had hands on lab it got taken away for welding students. They let a heroin addict back in the building that stole out of a teachers wallet. This place is more concerned about the money than the students. We watched youtube everyday in networking. That was our class time. People were allowed to make fun of other people's culture. Their "job search" is sending out resumes. Hell I don't need to pay for that. I can do that myself. The teachers in networking would constantly go back & forth to each other because they didn't know the subject. It would be helpful if they would get instructors or keep an instructor who HAS more experience in the field other than penn commercial. As in, in the network administration field. If you can afford it, go to a four year school. this is a waste of time.

I can only speak of the major i took. The main instructor was a hard nosed somewhat cranky old-man. My fellow students did not like him but i enjoyed his no nonsense teaching style. Aside from him the other instructors where less than knowledgeable. And the medical instructors were a bunch of women on a power trip. I received all As on my work but somehow got a B on my final grade (lowering my gpa to 3.98). When i asked why they could not produce any reason to lower my grade but it still wasn't changed. In all honesty this school is for the under-achiever. When i graduated i could not find a job, despite my 5 months of trying. And the placement office (one person) did nothing to help me. Then when i tried to transfer, out of 135 credits, only 15 were counted toward an engineering degree. In my opinion you are better off attending PTI or a 4 year college or university. Out of my graduating class, 6 ppl, only 3 found jobs and the highest paid is getting $11 an hr. Well below what we were expecting.
