Dynamet Incorporated, a subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, is supplier of titanium alloy products for the aerospace, medical, consumer, motorsports and recreation industries. The company was founded in 1967 and its first manufacturing facility was open for business April 1, 1968. Initially, the company manufactured titanium wire to be made into aerospace fasteners. Since then, its business has expanded to include services such as applications technology, chemical milling, coatings, cold drawing, conversion drawing, grinding, hot working, material testing and vacuum heat treating. Dynamet Incorporated is headquartered in Washington, Penn., and employs approximately 290 people.
