Their cars are no good, rip off, liars, rude and have the bad customer service ever. Since I bought a car from them it has been trouble from day one from one problem to another. When I took it back to them, the added more problems on it instead of fixing it. I'm still having problems with the car n I regret buying a car from them. I will never recommend anyone to go buy a car from there.

I agree with the person before me!! I would give them Zero stars if it was an option. They told me they would put 2 new tires on the SUV I bought for my daughter and put 2 used tires both had plugs in them. Promised to order a part from the dealership that was missing and would hand deliver it to me and now will not answer there phones!! Promised to detail the truck and Delivered the vehicle filthy ! Needless to say I do not and would never recommend them to anyone!!!

I wish I could give no stars, this place really sucks in fact we are filing a law suit against them, a good friend of mine bought a truck here within days the muffler came off. He went back for them to fix it since it is within the limits of the Lemon Law. They refused and were extremely rude which literally gave this poor man a heart attack. They have taken advantage of this old man humbleness. But I will help him bring these crooks and liars to court.

Do not buy a car here ever!

They get in cars daily and never inspect them prior to selling, I was sold a car with severe oil leaks and anti freeze leaks, bad breaks, a failing alternator and numerous other problems. The inspection was faked and the mechanic was bombed out of his mind. I was told that the problems did not exist when the car was with them and the only option I was given was to trade in the car, for less than I paid for it, for a more expensive car that they had never even looked under the hood at. HORRIBLE BUSINESS, HORRIBLE PEOPLE!

Please don't buy cars here. They will sell you broken cars and make you sign off on lemon law, they'll run you around on whats wrong with it until the 30 days are up so that way if you contact dealer comissions to get your money back you cant do anything. These people dont care if you have little babies to take care of and their vehicles are unsafe, They will swear up and down that what we all have said are not true. I wish i had heeded the warnings I saw on rip off report and on yelp because I wouldnt be out 4,500 on a car that wont even pass inspection. They are friends with the guy that "inspects" their cars....DONT BE FOOLED. I AM A SINGLE MOM with a 7 month old baby and they didnt think twice about what they were doing to me. I contacted warwick PD about the matter and the officer told me that they go down there on a REGULAR basis....

C&L staff is wonderful and very professional. They have a great affordable and reliable selection. They can answer any questions you may have in a professional way. I would recommend C&L to anyone looking to make a purchase for a vehicle. Besides the price and efficiency of the cars that they have, the staff over rules by far - the office and mechanics are simply a pleasure to work with. lied about model year of car.

lied about mileage, there was an odometer descrepensy ,yet vinny said a number of times, this is a great car with low miles, you dont see these with this ileage often.

lied about warrenty and repairs

lied about the extended warrenty, i purchased a cars protection plus plan from a 3rd part, through c&l, vinny and i signed the contract, i have the carbon copy, after a number of attempts to contact c&l regarding repairs and being ignored, i called the extended warrenty company and they informed me that vinny /c&l never paid them and never mailed in the contract for extended we signed, meaning vinny stole my money and never used it for my extended warrenty.

they ignored calls, emails, voicemails and faxes.

i am a hardworker, ork 2 jobs, saved money for a car, thought i did the right thing and bought a car from a dealer with an extended warrenty and this is what happens, an owner who literally lies and steals and sold me a broke down car with false mileage and quoted the prices high due to lieing about the model/year,

pursing a law suit, really, please move on to another dealer, if this places lasts much longer im sure there will be many many more complaints

I still dont get why people say they are awesome, vinny the short round nasty white haired man has no idea what hes talking about. He sells cars that have so many things wrong with them and he overprices them all. He has a guy there that cleans the cars out and all he can say is oh yes this place is great i clean the cars....well it didnt look like it at all. Tried saying that a car with 200,000 miles is worth such and such money and i can take it on road trips....how stupid can u be???? It sounded like it was falling apart. They unprofessional sell crap for cars, reason why ALL the same cars are still there months on in. I looked at two cars the beginning of this past summer and they are still there!! They should be shut down...that guy wears the same outfit all the time..thats a good enough reason to know he doesnt make money!!

my car was rejected 5 times under warrenty i just bought it 3 months ago the warrenty is still good i had professionals look at it and i know what is wrong when i pick it up they better mention those three things.

Places like this need to be shut down and everyone involved with this dealership going along with this illegal practices, fraud and horrible business need to be held accountable and locked up, for their actions in selling people bad products. They are not honest and show people respect. I lost a lot of money and two jobs dealing with this company for selling me a bad vehicle and giving me two bad illegal loaner cars while they were suppose to repair my vehicle that was never repaired that cost me my job. One broke down and the other had me pulled over, handcuffed put in the back of a patrol car on the way to jail and given five tickets because it was illegal. The trooper was on the phone with the owner verifying what I said as the truth and the trooper told me the dealer cares more about the car I’m impounding than you. He further stated “now you know the kind of people you are dealing with”. The vehicle that I purchased has many safety issue and broke down twice and had to get it fixed before I drove home from fighting traffic tickets I was given in a loaner vehicle provided by this dealership and that’s just the short version, Justice will be served BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES all I’m saying people DON’T SHOP hear and other places like this. Fight with GOD TRUTH AND THE LAW WE NEED TO RISE UP AGAINST COMPANIES THAT TAKE ADVANTEGE OF PEOPLE. PEACE LOVE AND GOD BLESS.

i JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THIS IS THE 2ND VEHICLE THAT I PURCHASED FROM C & L AND I LOVE IT. I DEALT WITH MIRNA AND SHE WAS SUCH A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH BECAUSE SHE IS HONEST AND TELLS ME HOW IT IS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO GOTO C & L IF YOU WANT SOMETHING AFFORDABLE AND EFFICIENT.

I just bought a Nissan Maxima from C&L Auto Sales and it was a great experience!! The place is under new management and super friendly. My car was inspected and cleaned before I took it on the road. You also have the option of doing Buy Here and Pay Here. Also their number has changed... 401 780 8600. If you want a good deal and don't want a credit check then this is the place to go for a nice and affordable car.

If you are thinking about buying a car, DONT think C&L auto, i have lived in the govenor francis area all my life and have heard nothing but horror stories about this place, i should have paid them mind. i saw a ford truck i wanted to take for a ride and check out so i walked in and asked an overweight guy with long white hair what the story was with the truck and he responded, "what is your credit score, i can get you into a loan for that truck no problem", "why dont we start running your credit while you take it for a ride", i told him that i was just looking to check it out and i wasnt that sure if i wanted to buy it right off the back, he told me, "you dont look serious, im not gonna waste the gas on a test drive if your not serious" he then muttered something under his breath and walked away, i took my business to TASCA and got treated right, even got a coke when i walked in the door! C&L Auto should be shut down, i personally know 4 people who have been mistreated or ripped off by this place, growing up that place was the spot to go because they would make you W-2 statements to get you into a loan. crooked as can be and dirty as can be, save your hard earned money for a respectable car dealership, not C&L.

These people are WICKED rude. I called to get a quote on my two Cadillac's and the lady hung up on me. One was a 1998 and the other was a 2001. Offered me $300 and then hung up the phone. Just obnoxious and no way to treat people.
