Pretty Crummy Service

Sold my daughter a battery couple months ago, battery goes bad. So far no big deal. She jump starts the car, takes to the store, they test the battery and say it's bad (it's still installed in the car). Things happen, no big deal. Proceed to have her pay for the replacement battery (under warranty) while she is in the stores parking lot, and then says we will refund the purchase when you bring the old one back. WHILE she is in the parking lot with a bad battery. Like she's going somewhere....No offer to help install, somewhat understandable, but she's a petite 20 year old college student. Knows not a wrench from a ratchet. Fortunately, another customer took pity and changed the battery for her.Customer service, much less chivalry, does not reside here.

bad customer service

I would like to know why napa charges me five extra dollars to bring thier part from the warehouse to the store. The truck comes from the warehouse in Albany N.Y. everyday to bring parts to Syracuse. I do not have this problem with any of the other parts stores such as Advance. I should think you want to sell your parts to the public. Since I own an older car I have to wait for a lot of my parts but no other place charges me extra to get the parts to there store. The parts never take more than three days to get to me. In the future I will use your store only as a last resort even though it is the closest one to me. In todays economy people can't afford the extra fee. I do not think that it is fair of you to charge extra fee's to get your parts to your store on a truck that comes here everyday.

I just went on all the local auto part store websites to check for prices on a battery for my jeep grand cherokee larado 4.0 liter 6 cylinder 1996 vehicle. All websites I went to I was able to get a price in 2 seconds and know what it would cost me. My zip code is 01077 I also at times use the store at 06078. both stores have great people and I am taken care of in a very timely fashion. I have never had the missfortune of checking out your website till tonite as I need a battery tomorrow morning and will most likely use the southwick 01077 store for my purchase. This website has to be the worst website to navigate I have ever navigated in my life. (my last job was purchaser and maintenance manager for a paper converting operation). If I were the manager of operations for this store chain I would go online and try to get a price on something because it is just a pretty poor excuse for a shopping experience. I am very dissapointed with my time online and hope something can be don
