After maintaining a solo practice for six years, Dr. Kumar welcomed Dr. Michael Blubaugh, a board-certified internist, to the team in 1998. This allowed Carolina Medical Center to offer medical care in Colleton County as well as Allendale-Fairfax County, and Hampton County. Then in 2012 they also welcomed Acute Care Nurse Practioner Mrs. Meredith HIpp to the practice.In collaboration with LabCorp, Carolina Medical Center has a convenient, in-house lab for diagnostic testing.
