I cancelled my membership 2 years ago and now they are sending me to collections! For a account that was canceled due to a bad knee the doctor told me I no longer was allowed to go to the gym went in and cancelled that day ! Called to get it straight and the woman said she was manager / owner was rude nasty and kept calling me a lier told me I would have to come in to cancel agin and pay the back bill I now live 3 hours away in another state but I have to drive to them to can all for a second time. This place is a rip off stay away !!!!

First I was kicked out for taking selfies in May 2015, in which no one else was in the picture(can show you pictures as proof). So after I was kicked out for this "No picture policy" that they never tell their customers or even enforce, I look on their Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and see how many other people have taken pictures similar to the ones I took but never got their membership revoked(can link you to literally 100s of pictures of people taking pictures inside different planet fitnesses worldwide and them even retweeting and responding on their social networks.). Then after calling to speak with a manager, the employees kept telling me to call back over and over and I was never able to speak with them so I just gave up.



3 months down the line in October, I learn that the manager at this Planet Fitness location lied to police officers to have me charged with TEL MISUSE: REPEAT CALLs when the employees told me to call back(I have video proof). It started in May when my membership was revoked for taking a picture of myself in the mirror(in which no one else was in the photos). My last calls were on June 26th, 2015. After dropping the issue and signing up with a different gym, I received a summons for this charge and the manager ,Alex Doering ,stated that "Patrick Francis was taking pictures of people in our location and kept calling and threatening our staff" and on my last call he stated that I said "What if I come up there with a gun" which is preposterous. I never even spoke with the manager on the phone and I have the video proof to prove it! I went to court on December 15th and the case was dropped after I showed my lawyer and the prosecutor the video evidence. This has caused me much stress in the past few months knowing that I could've spent 3 years in prison for this charge that the Planet Fitness manager completely made up.



I cannot believe that I was first discriminately kicked out of Planet Fitness for taking a picture of myself in which I have seen plenty of other people take then to get charged with something I never did. Planet Fitness has had many problems with discriminating against people and this just proves it!
