Old school and super fair and honest.
There's nothing like that sweet feeling of getting it rite the First Time.
I've had nothing but good experiences here.
They even referred me to another mechanic for work they don't do and that guy was great too.
I support Locals and I hope this one is around for all my restorations .

He was an excellent mechanic until today. Something has happened to him and it appears he has fallen into a pit of depression. I brought my car in to have the battery replaced, he told me he had the battery in stock, I then simply asked him if he could quickly change the battery on the spot (takes about 15 mins), because otherwise I would have to drive back from Carlsbad later this evening (I was about to offer him more money as well and on top of this I called before I came to his shop to let him know we were on our way), Before I could even finish, he blew up in a frenzy shooting angry remarks in my direction, saying he thought I was a "King of England". It was very apparent from the beginning that he was in an unpleasant mood, and usually Ronny is very polite and honest. So i remained silent; however, the angry remarks did not stop coming my way even after I had been silent for quiet some time. He even told me to take my car and go somewhere else, and that I was not welcome back. Now I have been with Ronny for over 4 years and spent over 3000 dollars at his shop, and he has NEVER been so disrespectful. I then said to him " Ronny all the money i've spent here... he cut me off saying I DONT CARE!!!" He then continues to throw all his hate and anger at me, until finally I had enough and told him to "grow up old man," this really tipped his scales. He almost began to cry and was ready to get violent. His co-worker from the back who had no idea what was happening had the audacity to approach me and tell me, "You are going to get hurt."

All in all, this was an extremely unpleasant experience. I did not think it was fair for him to release all his pent up anger on me. I am not a punching bag, I am a customer, and even though he has always done honest work, today was unacceptable, unprofessional, and a waste of time, money, energy.

He lost a customer today........
