My 91 year old grandmother was fitted & sold a $200 pair of ill-fitting shoes! They flip flop all around her feet. She had tried to return them & she continues to get the run around & brushed off by the owner. He tells the store employee to say hes w/clients then 5 min later when we call back ...he is out and wont be back til Thursday! Today is Tues 3/17/20. He should be ashamed of himself. First of all those shoes are dangerous. Secondly-shes 91 on a restricted income. Does he know what a chunk of money $200 is for her?!! Shameful! Hopefully he’s reading this. You KNOW her name because we’ve called SEVERAL times. Do the right thing MONTAGNA!

This company has taken over 1 month for getting the "paperwork" together, starting with faxing necessary forms to the WRONG fax number for the Doctors office- Despite the correct # on the RX given to the agent. Playing phone tag back and forth, with occasions of several calls not even returned- at all- days later, and when we FINALLY get the "Paperwork together", it will be another 2 1/2 to 3 weeks more for the shoes to get in.
This isn't a custom molded shoe, not even a custom insole. Just Diabetic shoes in the right size, and depth for her swelling feet!!!! This Was the most disappointing experience. we definitely will not recommend this store.

I am the owner of this business. Since John R took the time to write his review and this site did not allow me to respond, I am doing so here. We bend over backwards trying to accommodate our customers, we treat them with respect. He was not respectful, did not have his required information to proceed and unpleasant to my female employees. I wish him well.

Had a TERRIBLE experience there today. Rotten customer service and will AVOID the joint in the future. Not one cent of mine to this outfit.

I cant stand this place......They are Rude and they dont take the Blame for anything. They claim they are late getting back to you cause of the Doctor, but that is so untrue. Every shoe you pick for your fitting is always not able to be used for your feet, and you are left with the ugly shoes to pick from. I will never go there again.....and they ROB you for Diabetic Shoes. My Insurance paid over 800.00 for a pair of ugly Diabetic shoes you felt pushed into......I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN...........They are aweful people.........Especially the Staff !

I have been trying for a month to get diabetic shoes for a month from these people. I took in all the forms needed and was told they had to fax the doctor and would get back to me. 2 weeks later I get a letter from my insurance company telling they authorized the shoes. A week later I called them and they say they got nothing back from the doctor. I called the doctor who stated they never received anything. I call Montagna back and they give me a number to the insurance lady name Rebecca. The line has been busy all morning. They have a male that stands around there and he knows nothing but to argue with you, I am going somewhere else. These people are pathetic and definitely do not return calls and definitely no customer service.

In trying to get diabetic shoes for my wife. It seems that every time we talk with someone, that deals with getting authorization, we have another issue that arises. It seems that they are just not interested in going out of their way to help. I felt that they had no apathy to our situation.Due to their lack of costomer friendliness, we will be in search of a more costumer shoe store.

Do Not GO..!!!! The sales lady was super rude. The sales lady was so mean she chased me out the door screaming, "HAVE A NICE DAY!" Then she pushed the door closed and looked like she locked it.. all I wanted to do is try on shoes..!!! Wow.. what happen to customer service?

I have dealt with several orthotic dealers over the years but didn't get the service and satisfaction I received after dealing With Mr. Montagna. If you need diabetic shoes this is the place to shop.

As one of the last locally own...

As one of the last locally owned and operated shoe stores, these people excel in special ordering any shoe you need. I have very hard to fit feet, the kind that department stores do not service, and until I found Montagna's, shoe shopping was a nightmare. Now, however, with the helpful and knowledgeable staff assisting me, I have found and ordered the shoes I want in the size I need and I am very grateful.
