Absolutely the best,they have been there for me in every situation my fur kids have gotten into ,and then some.

I have used many different vets over the years that I have owned dogs. Most of them don't care for the dogs and they don't take the time to answer the questions that I have. However the two Doctors at Southgate are amazing with our pack of nine dogs. One member of our pack is an 11 pound 2 year old Boston Terrier Min Pin mix female who has a bad leg Dr. Hecht just loves her and Garnet loves him to pieces. He calls her his little "fireball" because when he had to stitch her front leg up after a fight with a cat he had to use two shots to knock her out to stitch up her leg. She was all bouncy and wanting to play when I went back to get her. If she hears the word VET, she starts crying wanting to go see him. I will NEVER use any other vet than them. My family pack consists of a nearly 6 year old German Shepherd, two 4 year old husky mixes a 3 year old husky mix, two lab shepherd mixes, two Boston Terrier Min Pin mixes and a pit bull. My pit was not good with men when she got her shots shortly after I got her but she was fine with Dr. Hecht of Dr. Nolting I cant remember which one, giving her a check up and her shots. LOVE THESE GUYS they are AMAZING and so is their staff.

The new Doctors, Dr. Hecht and Dr. Nolting, that have taken over Southgate are young and innovative. Both the new doctors are doing whatever it takes to bring Southgate up to date with renovations to the building and the quality of service. They have risen the bar while maintaining decent prices. My wife and I openly admit to being high maintenance dog owners, we have a pug and a bulldog, and we implicitly trust Southgate with the health of our boys. Don't let what you heard about the old southgate scare you from going to the NEW Southgate.

we had a stray pit bull hit by a car and left for dead in the snow next door to our house, we called and it was like 6:30 at night and he told us to bring him in. They did a great job fixing him up. We decided to keep the dog for now he's really something. I really love the fact that this place is under NEW OWNERS! supper nice.

We go to Southgate because they are caring and genuine. They also take care of the animals at the local animal shelter. They truly care about their work and go out of their way to care for the animals. Also, they do not overcharge for visits, medicine or procedures. It's the only clinic we use!
