Customer service ends the minute that you drive off the lot. My family purchased a used care. We live 2.5 hours from the dealership. Both finance and the salesperson Kenny were both friendly and helpful.A few weeks later the nightmare begins...We received 30 day tags and after not receiving permanent plates after 21 days we called the dealership. We were informed the plates could not be mailed because we had a PO BOX and Fedex does not deliver to PO Boxes. Why no one called to find out what address to send to, I'm not sure. We still had 9 days so we asked that they be mailed regular mail. Melissa, front desk staff, said that she would mail them that day. By day 28 we had not received the plates and called again. Melissa said that she had not mailed them and apologized. No further explanation. We asked that she overnight the plates as we did not want to be riding with expired tags. She informed us that she would. On day 30 still no tags. We called the office again and Melissa said that she did mail them but the tags would not be there until day 31 between 8-10am. She had not bothered to call and let us know anything. I informed her that we only had two cars and both of us worked so my husband would be stuck with driving an hour with expired temp tags. I informed her that it was unacceptable and requested to speak to a manager who was Terrance. This is when it got bad. While attempting to explain the situation Terrance put me on hold to speak with Melissa for her story. Once he returned, he minimized the tag situation saying it was human error and that the tags would be there the next day. His non chalant attitude was unnerving. He would not offer an apology or admit to poor customer service. He was rude and arrogant offering nothing for our inconvenience. Unfortuately the entire tag situation soured my opionion of the dealership. Customer service training needs to be completed so that a couple of bad apples do not ruin it for the entire dealership.
