We have used Petcoskey and Sons for almost 20 years now and never had a complaint. This morning they were on time for the appointment, performed annual maintenance on furnace and air conditioner, checked thermostats, made sure their work hadn't left a mess, and were pleasant to boot. I can't say enough good about these guys. As an aside, my husband stopped in their shop yesterday with a question about parts for a home plumbing job he was doing. Mike was able to point him in the right direction as to what parts he needed and where to find them. No hard sell as in "My guys can come up and give you an estimate/finish it for you." Just friendly advice. Great guy.

Took advantage of flood victims and refuse to service their own equipment because they cannot even figure out what is wrong with them. Sold us a lemon. Buyer beware. Before going to them check Economy or Martins.

Very Happy With the New Carrier Furnace Petcosky men installed. The guys that did the insulation were very processional. I'm very HAPPY WITH THEM. Thank you, TerryS

The representative that came to my house was there to sell me an air conditioning system with duct work. During his initial visit, he bragged about how great the company was and that he couldn't believe other companies left same day quotes. He took little measurements and said he would get back to me the following week with 2 options. He met with us and did not have a quote. Instead he took measurements and said he would get back to us. He led us to believe that the job would cost in the range of 10-15K. Boy, were we mislead! He came back to us the next day and quoted us double that amount. It was like they didn't want our business, jacked up the price, and didn't care. He said "It is what it is and let us know what you want to do" and hung up. Although we were impressed he took the time to explain to us what he was going to do (hence 1 star), the company failed miserably on misleading the customer with price and even caring about getting the business. Don't waste your time!
