Attending Colonial Baptist Church has been a tremendous blessing to our family. It is an exceptionally warm friendly congregation that makes you feel like you are part of family. The pastor is an excellent teacher who is committed to being true to God's Word. But he also shows his love for the flock in ways far beyond reasonable expectations. For example, he preached my father's memorial service even though my dad never attended here. He visited a sick aunt in the hospital even though she attends another church.
Our music is exactly what I am blessed by...a good mixture of old traditional hymns and more current worship songs.
And we have a great kid's ministry.

The pastor is a very down-to-earth, caring individual who emphasizes reading and studying the Word of God and applying it to your life. The music program is good and children are highly valued, yet the church keeps proper perspective that the purpose of the church is not self-indulgent. It is an evangelistic church with community ministries including a pantry and benevolence fund for the needy and hands-on support for Hope Children's Home in Tampa. The church is a family that prays for one another.
