Bought our motor home from Bentley RV sales, Traded in our pickup and fifth wheel. We had a few problems that needed fixing with was accomplished in a short time. The maintenance personal were very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about our unit and how to operate all the systems in the unit. I would recommend Scott Bentley RV to all my friends. I did not see anybody by the name of David working on sale or on staff so must have make some adjustments since last post..

Our rating for Bentley RV is zero stars. The sales agent, David, represented himself as having 30 years in the business and told us he was "our" agent in connection with our RV purchase. Then sold us an RV with serious defects that he failed to disclose. We were first time RV purchasers. On the first day, the slide motor died and we overheard their mechanic say to bang on it with a wrench. Needless to say the motor had to be replaced. Then on our first voyage, every system other than the engine failed (hot water, electricity, refrigerator, propane, etc.). When we got home we called Bentley RV and expressed concern they sold us a lemon with no return call to offer repair services. We took it to another repair shop and learned there was a water leak in the side wall of the coach that was present for some time and were told Bentley RV had to have known about the leak which cost us quite a bit of money for repair costs. It also took more than 3 months to obtain our license plate and multiple phone calls to learn Bentley RV was holding it hostage claiming we owed a miscellaneous charge related to the replacement of the slide motor. It took a complaint to the DOL and a DOL investigator going to Bentley RV to pick it up. The DOL investigator reported they had another investigation against the company and Bentley RV lied about refusing to release the license plate to us. Bentley RV retaliated by turning us over to collections for the $100 misc. charge when they cost us more than a thousand dollars in repair costs. They have terrible customer service and no integrity as a business owner.

My neighbor told me about this place and how pleased he has been with their service. I took my fully self contained camper in for inspection before selling it and I too am very pleased. Scott Bently under-promised and over delivered. Fast friendly honest describes this business.

Total Rip Off! Beware!

I would never recommend Bentley RV. They screwed us over so bad.We bought an RV from them that was on consignment. We paid a tremendous amount of money down, the brother that worked there had stolen our money plus the money we had gotten from the credit union, he got away with over $100,000.00 plus we found out we were not the only ones he had stolen from, well then they filed bankruptcy. All that is public record you can look them up. Then we found out they did not even have the title to the motorhome, we had to go through almost a year trying to either get our money or motorhome back from the original owners, because Bentley never paid the owner the money they had stolen it. They filed bankruptcy remember. They did not care about anyone they screwed over. But, we had to pay the price with lawyer fees out the you know what just to see Bentley get away free. Do not do business with them if you know what’s good for you. This is not the only time they filed bankruptcy or the first time they got away with bad things! Trust me see below this was about our case! http://www.dol.wa.gov/business/disciplinary/disciplinarydealer.htmlJim Bob Bentley, Bentley RV Sales — VancouverFindings: Failed to pay off the owner / consignor of a vehicle.Failed to maintain a consignment agreement to offer vehicle for sale that included the consignor’s statement that guaranteed the delivery of the title upon sale, the consignor’s statement that identified the location of the title, the specific effective duration of the contract, and the signatures of the parties to the contract. In the sale of the vehicle, the parties to the contract agreed to a selling price of $130,000. Respondent sold the vehicle for $121,000 without obtaining the written consent from the consignor.Action: Fined $2,500, which is stayed as long as the Respondent fulfills the payment requirements outlined in Respondent’s Chapter 13 Bankruptcy filing in the Western District Court, Western District of Washington, filed on or about January 8, 2013. That filing includes payment to the customers.

Don't go!! Bad business. The...

Don't go!! Bad business. They contacted us saying they had a prospective buyer....more than once. When we finally told them we could bring it up there it with the understanding that it would NOT be for long as they "had an interested party". fast forward through calls where I was referred to as "honey" and "sweetie" while being told there was a "verbal intent to buy" to the day we have to pick up our truck and camper. I had made sure to inform the salesman that we had to pick up on a specific day due to schedule and was told it would not be a problem, this gave a one week advance notice to have our stuff ready or a contract with down. Upon arrival our truck did not have the camper loaded and the camper was tucked back into a corner we simply could not get it out of. We ended up having to leave it on the lot for the day and returning on our way back through to home, but in between I had the salesman call and argue (in a syrupy sweet voice) that I had told him we would be picking up the setup on Tuesday, this was Sunday (and for the record I had told him Saturday, but the event we were attending changed so he got 1 additional day to have his stuff together). He actually argued with me about what days I had been available. Then wanted to know if they sold the camper AFTER we left the lot if they could come pick it up from us for the buyer and use our truck to transport it. When I told him no he asked me how they could get it to the buyer. Just bad business, bad customer service and would never recommend going there. This place is why salesmen get bad raps.

experience with Jim

We arranged a buy from Australia with absolute confidence and everything was done as I asked, 100% satisfaction, even problems were no effort to have corrected and we ended up traveling 8000 trouble free miles thru canada/yellwstone/yosemite and the redwoods then surprise jim arranged the sale of our RV for a great price, will buy again from a gentleman who I now call a friend, if your straight, he's your man, straight down the line stuff with Jim, thanks very much.
