Operational for more than 40 years, College of the Canyons is one of the largest, community colleges in the United States that offers educational opportunities. The college serves more than 10,000 students annually. It provides over 60 academic and nearly 65 certificate programs. College of the Canyons offers courses in animation, television, biotechnology, theatre arts, child development, paralegal studies, industrial manufacturing, and film and video production. The college offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as football, basketball and golf. It operates the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center. College of the Canyons maintains a library that provides a variety of educational resources and materials.
