These guys installed a tar and chip driveway at my home. Firstly, all of my research on tar and chip indicates that the contractor should not put so much liquid asphalt on the drive that it bleeds through the gravel. That happened, all over, discoloring and ruining the surface of the riverstone they used. And on a hot day, it's gonna be a sticky, tacky mess! Secondly, they got tar all over my house and the decorative concrete patio and walkway I paid $6000 for the previous year. It's like they just sprayed asphalt here, there and everywhere without bothering to protect anything before they did it. They assured me at least twice that they would be out to clean off the tar and didn't show up either time. By a happy accident, they ended up bidding the job and completing the work on the same day, so I never put down a deposit before they completed the job. Thank God! Because I had not yet paid them, and had to threaten not to to get them to clean the tar off my house and concrete. They did eventually come out and clean up, though the powerwasher they used to get the tar off the bricks on my 100-year old home damaged the mortar. When it comes to tar and chip (chip seal, macadam), these guys are amateurs and do a poor job. If I had paid these guys before the work was done, I'm certain my review would be just like the previous one-star review where the customer complained they refused to fix their mistakes or return her calls after they cashed her check. Beware!

Don't pay them until the whole job finished....They will not return phone calls, fix problems they said they could change.....seemed really nice when they were selling the product, but changed when the job was done and the check cashed. This makes me wonder if they will stand behind the two year warranty the promised. I would no recommend them to resurface my drive again.
